The Tea Party Celebrates 20 Years Of Transmission

1997 was an epic year in music. Fans of award winning The Tea Party were celebrating the release of the band’s fourth studio album, Transmission. Reaching number three on the Australian charts, which was the highest charting album ever for the band and earning double platinum sales status.

The album containing classic Tea Party songs including 'Temptation', 'Psychopomp', 'Release', 'Emerald' and the classic title track 'Transmission'. Jeff Martin, Stuart Chatwood and drummer Jeff Burrows delivered in spades, with two magical sets of their mersmerising music, as well as performing little seques to U2’s 'With Or Without You', The Rolling Stones 'Paint It Black', Tool’s 'Sober' and a lovely David Bowie tribute with 'Heroes'.
