I'm Talking Secret Show @ Memo Music Hall

Australian iconic 80's dance band, I'm Talking performed a the first time in  30 long years but you would never know. It was a secret invite only concert at the Memo Music Hall, as a warm up for the forthcoming A Day On The Green support for Bryan Ferry.

Kate Ceberano and Zan Abeyratne pulled out all of the stops and gave us some impressive dance moves. They performed all of their catchy songs from their platinum selling album, Bear Witness, which was originally released in August 1986. Plus their hit singles Lead The Way, Love Don’t Live Here Anymore and Trust Me (see above for the a live video performance of that final song and feel free to bust a move and clap along).

The current lineup of I'm Talking consists of Kate Ceberano, Zan Abeyrante on vocals, Robert Goodge on guitar, Barbara Hogarth on bass, Stephen Charlesworth on keyboards, as well as new members Brodie Everist on saxophone and Miles Henry on drums.

I'm Talking will play before Bryan Ferry at A Day On The Green in Kings Park in Perth (21st February), Rochford Wines in Victoria’s Yarra Valley (23rd February) and Sirromet Wines in Mount Cotton, Queensland (3rd March). Stephen Cummings of The Sports fame and Models are also on the line-up.

A remastered deluxe and collectors edition of Bear Witness with extra 12 inch mixes, as well as a new live album, Dyin’ To Be Dancin’ (I’m Talking Live 1984-1986) have recently become available through Bloodlines Music.
