THURSDAY - Mt Mountain + Luna Ghost + White Bleaches + Baked Beans at The Tote. White Bleaches (pictured) I love love love. I can see these guys over and over again. The rest I haven't seen but am keen to check out. Heard good whisperings about Mt Mountain. Psych rock for the win.

FRIDAY - Visions at Yah Yahs is where it's at with Totally Mild + Pretty City + Hollow Everdaze + Betty & Oswald will show you an eclectically good time with some local faves and as if that is not enough... 2AM - Yah Yahs throws you to the Jaala beast. Indie, pop,punk, rock. Everything.

ALSO - Deftones + Karnivool + Voyager would be a freaking sick show if you are lucky enough to have tickets. Wow! FRIDAY IS ALSO THE START OF MELBOURNE MUSIC WEEK Y'ALL!!! GET AMONGST IT!!!!

SATURDAY - Immigrant Union + Perch Creek supported by Leah Senior gets my vote for Saturday night psychedelic folk country times. Wholesome! ALSO - if you have the big dollars A Day On The Green on both Saturday and Sunday is giving you a big fat serving of Australian rock royalty with You Am I + Something For Kate + Spiderbait + Jebediah + The Meanies... Crazy!

SUNDAY - The Drones + My Disco will be melting minds and pushing rock to the limit at the Melbourne Town Hall (Thank you MMW) This will literally be an experience not to be missed... Have you seen Gareth Liddiard? Shame on you! You should! SIDE NOTE - there are actually so many fun things on Sunday so get to it.

MONDAY - The weekend may have ended but that doesn't mean shit... Zola Jesus is playing Melbourne Recital Centre (MMW) This dark synthpop genius is incredible... Go see it!

TUESDAY - Aside from two excellent MMW events in Hush (Dan Kelly + Teeth & Tongue + Melody Pool + Jess Ribeiro... and so many more) and Valve Sounds (Elliphant + Yeo + UV Boi + Alice Ivy... and more). Cherry Bar has a sweet little rock residency with Shewolf + The Crookeds + CASH... never seen any of these bands play but they all sound interesting so this is my try new things/ find new faves pick for the week. Cool... now everybody has something to do this week.
