From a Sydney garage to Abbey Road Studios in London, Australian Dream Rock band, Crystal Cities, have come a long way in just over 2 years.
In March of 2017 Crystal Cities released their critically acclaimed Debut EP, Who's Gonna Save Us Now,
receiving widespread attention across the globe despite being recorded in the modest environment of
their mate's garage in Sydney!
Fast forward 2 years and the band have completed their debut album, Under the Cold Light of the Moon, and inked a
records and publishing deal with global music company Audio Network. Through this partnership the band were allowed
the opportunity to record at the prestigious Abbey Road Studios, capturing the sounds of a string orchestra made up of London's finest musicians.
With a new cinematic sound and grandiose aesthetic, the band are more equipped than ever to make their mark on the global music landscape.
City Calm Down - 1st June - Oxford Arts Factory
A band favourite and we really love their sound. Very cool band, someone who I'd love to see and pplay a gig with.
Jack River - 7th June - Enmore Theatre
Was lucky to see her perform before Florence and The Machine. Her and the band were incredible! THis tour will be fun, magical party.
Polish Club - 15th of June - Manning Bar
I really love 'Clarity'. Polish Club are an incredible band and I really dig the singer's voice. Would be great to get to this show.
Mansionair - 22nd June - The Lansdowne
Again, big of a band favourite. We were all very keen for the release of their debut album. THis would be an awesome show to see at a great venue.
Methyl Ethel - 22nd June - Enmore Theatre
Bit of a bummer as I will be out of Sydney for this show. 'Triage' is one of my top albuns of the year so far. Will have to wait for the next set of shows unfortunately.
