Welcome all to this Fundraiser for Heart Foundation! The Heart Foundation is a national charity with a mission to fight the most fatal killers in Australia: heart attacks and strokes.
For this night, we have an incredible all female lead line-up:
Libby Steel Full Flower Moon Band Eaglemont Georgia Knight
On Wednesday 17th April $10 + booking fee Doors 7.30pm
Libby Steel is our headlining performance and will be her second show in Melbourne this year after her crowd winning set at the St. Kilda Festival 2019. Libby Steel was born and raised in our Victorian countryside where she developed her untainted love for music. After years of gigging and performing locally she has taken to writing her own originals and has begun to weave her way into the wonders of the music industry. With a commanding stage presence weaving into feel good pop, Libby Steel will be an act that will follow you long after the night.
Having spent years as Gabriella Cohen's right hand lady in many international tours, Kate 'Babyshakes' Dillon is a musician extraordinaire hailing from Brisbane. Full Flower Moon Band has been developing into an explosive performance, with grungy utopian themes that you can listen to in the Chinatown concept album.
Eaglemont is a Melbourne indie folk/rock project by singer songwriter Bridg Jessop. After the release of her 7” “Mediocre at Best/Uppercut” and 2 sold out launch shows at The Gasometer, Eaglemont roars into 2019 with her insatiable brand of indie rock delivering hooky guitar lines doubled with emotional and heartbreaking lyrics.
From the successful band, The Hot Springs, Georgia Knight has continued working her way through the Melbourne Music scene as a solo and band performer under her own namesake. Georgia is a friend to all musicians and weary travelers, where she translates folk songwriting sensibilities into reflective poetry.
Cardiovascular diseases kill one Australian every 12 minutes and remains one of the highest causes of death globally. How do the Foundation tackle this? Over 60% of the budget comes directly from public support! For every dollar of your donation, The Heart Foundation provides financial support for heart related researchers and clinical personnel and also help translate research into public awareness campaigns. It is due to fundraising events such as runs, concerts, donation drives and breakfasts that The Heart Foundation is able to maintain a world class presence as an inspiring charity. Come celebrate with this concert, where all proceeds from the door cost will be donated directly to the charity!
If you cannot make it on the night, please donate whatever you feel is comfortable to:
