Fountain Lakes are dream-folk duo Jac Tonks and Emma Heeney, weaving dual vocals and spectral harmonies over acoustic and electric guitars, joined by bandmate Nick O’Mara on his signature sparkling lap steel. Their sweet and dark cautionary tales have earned an ABC TV Rage premiere, strong support from PBS FM, 3RRR and ABC Radio, and a sold-out Melbourne launch.
Fresh from a 2026 artist residency in Iceland, they’re now bringing home new songs written for their debut album which they’ll showcase at this show.
From the heart of Naarm, Acid Arrow melds outlaw country with psychedelia. Trading lead vocals and guitar duties, Brooke Penrose (Saint Jude) and Brett Marshall (Mightiest of Guns) conjure dreams of rugged landscapes and heartfelt rebellion.
For the last three years they've been stomping, hollering and picking guitars through dive bars, saloons and honky tonks in Naarm's Northern Suburbs. In 2026, they self-produced, recorded and released their first two singles, Then It Rains and Drop Your Shoulders Down to widespread community radio support.
Join these two bands for a cosy afternoon of music at the Merri Creek Tavern on Sunday, November 8th. Doors are at 5pm and tickets available through Trybooking.
