Melbourne pub-punk rockers Private Function have announced their latest record St. Anger will be released next month. The band have also shared the two lead singles ‘Talking To Myself’ and punk Midnight Oil cover ‘King of the Mountain’, a track that has been kicking around their live set for a while. The title and album artwork are less a homage to the infamous Metallica record of the same name, and more a leer at the metal behemoth’s tendency to sue.
If that wasn’t enough to rile Lars Ulrich up, Private Function are embarking on a St Anger national tour, setting off at venues around the country in September, August and October.
