Tim Rogers and Davey Lane talk about TOMMY

I had a chat with You Am I's Tim Rogers and Davey Lane about the forthcoming 50th Anniversary celebration of The Who's TOMMY. Here are some of the answers: THE OX....TOM BAKER....S.F. SORROW. Now play this cheeky little video to work out what I questions I ask these fine gentlemen of rock.

Tim Rogers, Davey Lane, Ash Naylor
have put together an all-star band to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Who’s breakthrough album of 1969, “Tommy”, which they will perform as “Captain Walker’s Unborn Children”.

The Pete Townsend-penned masterpiece “rock opera” about the deaf, dumb and blind kid, has been represented in theatre, film and of course, live performance by “The Who”, but never in its full track listing sequence.

That’s about to change, when Captain Walker’s Unborn Children bring “Tommy” to life. Says Rogers, "Captain Walker’s Unborn Children want to pull the pinball and light up the whole bloody thing. No theatrics, no script, just Tommy in its entirety."

The foolhardy minstrels sparkin’ up the stage include: Davey Lane, Ash Naylor, Brett Wolfenden, Talei Wolfgramm, Tim Rogers and Liam McGorry.
