Announcing the one-off return of blues punk legends Harem Scarem.
To coincide with Laneway Music’s re-release of their back catalogue - including the classic 1986 album Pilgrim’s Progress, Dogman ep, and a trove of unreleased live material, demos, and other rareties - Harem Scarem will perform a strictly one-off show at the Gasometer Hotel, Thursday 9th November 2017.
In mid-80s Melbourne, the Blues and Punk Rock had a baby and they named it Harem Scarem – long since gone, but never forgotten, the classic line up featuring Christopher Marshall, Charlie Marshall, Barry Palmer and Chris Wilson reforms for a night of beauty and chaos as they return to their blistering blues-punk rock roots.
Fans with fond memories of the band, along with those who missed out the first time, can experience the intensity and power that is Harem Scarem live at the Gasometer Hotel on Thursday 9th November. Able support will be provided by the Sand Pebbles – fresh from sold-out shows following the release of their new album Pleasure Maps – and James McCann and the New Vindictives. Tix will run out the door – so be quick while they’re around!
