Following on from showcasing at Bigsound Music Conference this year, DIET will be holding their hometown launch for new EP entitled Sundown on the public holiday eve (grand final holiday)!A collection of tracks that shine like a Brit-pop laden sunset, it is the culmination of a very busy twelve months having released singles such as 'Take Me' (that gained the band a lengthy spot rotation on triple j) and 'Danny Boy', joining the New World Artists booking agency and touring across the East Coast with bands such as British India, Polish Club and West Therbarton.
Described by Tone Deaf as "one of the tightest and most entertaining live bands you'll find' the band will be supported on the evening by two BIGSOUND 2018 alumni in the delightfully weird and lo-fi RAT!hammock and the dreamy and romantic bedroom pop of Candy. Also on he bill will be the indie surf-rock leanings of Hotel Fifteen Love whilst DJ Saraha will get everyone moving towards the ealy morning.
Make use of that public holiday with some calorie crunching fun, a ripper lineup and $2.50 pots and $5 vodkas all night!
